George YULE was the eldest son of George YULE and Margaret SCOTT. Louisa Amelia Browning was born 1840 in England. They were married 22 January 1836, Whitby, Ontario, Canada.

 Adam YULE b. ca. 1775, was the ship’s captain of the Brig “Davina” out of Peterhead. He married Janet BLACK of Quebec 11 July 1827. He is listed as a widower. Adam and John Yule were the witnesses.    (#M 138/15 St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church, Quebec City, Quebec, Canada)

YULE: At providence Manon Home for the aged, Kinston, Ontario on December 1, 1995, Eleanor Katherine (nee COLE) Yule, after a long illness. Beloved wife, best friend and companion of Alexander P. YULE, Kinston: devoted and greatly loved mother of James A. (Linda), RR #2 Hastings, P. Ann Leaf (Richard), Berkeley, CA, Norah E. MacGREGOR (Ron), Toronto: grandmother of Joseph A. YULE, Toronto. Predeceased, by her parents, James M. COLE and Katherine I. ARKELL, Woodstock, Ontario and her brother J. Arkell COLE (Eleanor), Huntsville. A memorial service to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held in the Chapel at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Kingston on Monday, December 4, at 11:00 o’clock.

 

YUILL: James Armstrong at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday. November 26, 1995 in his 85th year. James YUILL, beloved husband of Myrtle (nee Quigley) of Cambridge. Dear father of Frances Jarvis and Gwen and her husband Merle WILBUR. Loved grandfather of James WAKEFORD of Cambridge, Pat Armstrong of Toronto, Mike WILBUR of Cambridge, Gail GAUDREAU of Listtowel, Bill WAKEFORD of Cambridge, Ray Jarvis of Chesley, Ann Ashby and Carole Jarvis both of Chesley. Loved great-grandfather of 22 and great-great-grandfather of three. Dear brother of John of London, Mary McARTHUR and Edith McANGUS, both of Paisley. Mr. YUILL worked at Sheldon Engineering for 30 years, and was formerly an active baseball and hockey coach in the Cambridge area for many years.

 

 

YULE: Edith Mary (chamberlain) at Hannah Walker Place, Owen Sound on Sunday, January 16, 1994, in her 103rd year. Predeceased by her husband Alexander YULE of Ingersol and her daughter-in-law Hester (counter) YULE. Survived by her four sons Alex and Eleanor of Kingston, Howard and Marilyn of Gananoque, Robert and Meryl of Burlington and Donald and Elizabeth of Owen Sound. Also survived by grandchildren Jay, Patricia, Norah, Joe, Brian, Sheila, Donna, Heather, Rob, Martha, Gordon, Graham and Grant, and great-grandchildren Jos, Laura, Cindy, George, Meghan, Dan, Alex, Colin, Jonathan, Nicholas, Jennifer and Logan.
