Alexander Morison, Guestrow, Aberdeen murdered his wife Agnes YULE, 1776. He was hanged in the Gallowgate (107).

Agnes YULE, daughter of James and Marjory (DAVIDSON) YOOL, was born 28 November 1728, St. Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen. She married 18 March 1754 St. Nicholas to Alexander Morrison whose occupation was a wright.

Agnes YULE was admitted to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on 7 May 1776 aged 44 residence Aberdeen Town. She died there 24 May 1776.



They had the following family:

Robert bapt. 1 March 1762, Trinity's Episcopalian Church

Agnes bapt. 26 June 1764, Trinity's Episcopalian Church

Janet bapt. 9 April 1767, St. Paul's Episcopalian Church

Alexander bapt. 22 October 1769 St. Andrew's Episcopalian.

1838 Inventory of Marion YULE's furniture:

2 beds, 11/5 pr. blankets, 1 pair of double sheets and 2 1/2 ones, a sink, a press, 2 chairs, kettle, 2 pots, chest, 2 doz. plates and bowls, 2 cream casks and a frying pan.

Marion YULE died 13 August 1839 and her brother James YULE was allowed to keep the above mentioned effects on paying 14/6d which sum was required to pay the expenses of her funeral.



Note:

Marion and James were the children of James and Janet (ANDERSON) YOUL of Smailholm. James b. 17 Nov. 1762 and Marion b. 23 Jul 1769, Smailholm, Roxburghshire.

A large chest (said to be empty, but ascertained since to have been filled with different small articles) 3 beds, a press, front of bed, shelf and drawer, 3 chairs and a pot.

James George YULE was born 13 Sep. 1755, Carrickfergus, Antrim, Ireland and died 30 mar. 1832, Danube, Herkimer County. He married 12 Sep. 1779 to Margaret daughter of Nicholas CHRISTMAN. Margeret was born 28 Dec, 1759 and died 17 Feb. 1836 Danube, NY. James landed in Baltimore MD 1 Jan. 1774.

Elizabetha YOUL married April 25 1819, Reformed Church, Herkimer to George HOUSE son of Joseph.



John Kennedy YULE married Elizabeth Keller

Child: George Michael b. 26 Mar. 1819 Oneida Co. NY and died 2 Mar. 1904, Otter Creek WI. He married 16 April 1843 Newark NY to Adeline Maria O'Brian. George is on the 1850 census for Caroline, Tomkins County, NY as YALE.

Francisco A.B. YULE wrote an article on his connection with General Matthew Ridgeway in the October 1995 Scottish Rite Journal. He had met the general at a Masonic Reunion in Tokyo in 1951. Francisco was born in Macao and raised in Shanghai by well-to-do Eurasian parents. He moved to Yokohama, Japan, because of the Communist takeover of China and later moved to San Francisco California.
